Yes you can change the background of the USB flash drive . Just follow the steps given below.

Step 1:
  Copy this code into notepad (copy and paste), then save it as "desktop.ini"

CODE:
[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
IconIndex=127
ConfirmFileOp=0
[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]
Attributes=1
IconArea_Image="your_picture.jpg"
IconArea_Text="0xFFFFFF"
VeBRA sources - don't delete the tag above, it's there for XXXXX purposes -
[ExtShellFolderViews]
{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}
{5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}={5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}
[{5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}]
PersistMoniker=Folder.htt
PersistMonikerPreview=%WebDir%\folder.bmp

Step 2:
Put "desktop.ini" file onto your flash drive and replace "your_picture" with the
name of the picture you want to use leaving the .jpg extension the same.

Step 3:
Now copy the picture that you want to use onto your flash drive.

Step 4:
Refresh (F5) or Go back to My Computer and open your flash drive again ..and enjoy with new background..

  4. Sorry to say this, but it sucks. Never worked though how many times I have tried! >_< It only got my hopes up! Or maybe, my case is something different?

    Here is my situation, please answer back if you know the solution...

    In my flash drive: _FD_ there exist a folder named as: T.
    Now in that folder named T, there is another folder... which is now named as: Y. Now, I want to change folder Y's background. But as many times as I tried I can't! Don't get me wrong, I have actually succeeded in changing the background of folder T, but how come changing folder Y's, is not working?! Truly depressed and irritated, I searched in the net for hours! but still got no answer! >_<

    Anyone, please help!
